Parent Help Needed!!

House 2 would like to hold an annual Team Day in January and will need the help of our families. We are looking for parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles or other family members who are willing to share a talent, hobby or career information with our students. In the past we have had a dentist, a cake decorator, marking executive and plumber all provide some hands on fun for the kids. Depending on the number of volunteers we have, we would be looking for approximately 20 minute presentations during the time slot of 11-1:30. Please email Mrs. Bruno at the address below if you are interested in participating with a brief description of what you would like to do.

Red:No official homework. When we come back we will be in the library researching alternative energy sources such as tidal, solar, geothermal, wind and hydroelectric. Each student after doing some basic research will be allowed to pick one source to complete a project. If they want to do some exploring they can then pick one they are most interested in. Those that were absent before break will need to make up the test before working on an alternative.

Math: 6th Grade Math Portfolio download (large file)This will be used in class, but can be a useful resource for homework and state test preparation.
